TRACY G To Record Solo CD, Make Tribute Appearances
January 22, 2002Former DIO/WORLD WAR III guitarist Tracy G is at his recording studio working on a solo CD, to be issued later in the year. Among the musicians featured on the recordings is bassist Leon Randolph (aka Randy Wilde). In other news, Tracy G will be donating a track from his upcoming solo CD to the Red Cross Project — a tribute CD dedicated to the families and victims of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. The album will be released through the Now And Then/Frontiers record label. Also on the G front, Tracy will be playing the guitar solo on a cover of DAVID LEE ROTH's “Lady Luck” (featuring Chris Heaven from Italy on vocals) on the upcoming Jason Becker Tribute Vol. 2 CD. Finally, Tracy's band DRIVEN is seeking a drummer for live shows in the L.A. area. If you have what it takes, send a bio and a sample of your drumming to:
